No more stupid verse

Time to call time on this blog

But we’re not dead yet

tombstone

So yeah, Heavy Metal Haiku is coming to an end – but not through apathy or laziness or anything like that. No, we’re merely going to get refitted and re-launched in a slightly modified guise.

Writing this blog, I’ve noticed I’m writing more and more about bands that have split up, and finding myself intrigued as to what happened to the members afterwards. I’m much more interested in that than in writing those stupid haikus – that gimmick only arose because I couldn’t think of a decent blog name for these wandering rambles about metal bands, and Heavy Metal Haiku kinda stuck.

Which is why I’m re-locating to ThrashHits.com, where this will become a semi-irregular column, probably under the moniker of Dead Metal. It’s going to be a bit less “I saw this band in 1998 and they SHREDDED” and a bit more ‘investigative’. Keep an eye out, it’s goona be a good ‘un.
